COWBOY, is a 4 yr. old Reg. AQHA gelding with an amazing soft, rich, palomino coat and flaxen mane and tail. This boy stands a strong 15.1 HH and would be the perfect all around family horse that is solid and dependable. He is the cutest guy in the barn with a sweet personality. Will also turnout with other horses without a problem. Cowboy is safe for any level of rider. He has been on lots of trail rides and moonlight rides. He always rides the same whether he is out alone or with a group. He will cross any obstacles you might encounter on the trails, logs, creek, bridges, etc. We have also ridden on state routes and through heavy traffic in town and is 100% traffic safe. We have used him ocassionally for herding cows and he does great with that. He will lay down and sit on command and is tarp safe and good with whip cacking and shooting on his back. Cowboy has also done a lot of arena work. He has three very collected, smooth gaits,walk, trot and canter.His transitions are great and he knows his leads. Spin, sliding stop, rollbacks,sidepass, etc. He moves off the legs and seat very well. This beautiful guy is always willing to please. We think he's got great enough movement and family that he could be a show horse. His sire is MR Tari Ashwood and dam is Smart Miss Cross by SMART LITTLE LENA.. He picks up feet, stands patiently for farrier and bathing without a problem. Trailers like a champ. He is 100% sound and has current X-Rays and PPE on file.
