Jared specializes in starting and foundational work for horses of all breeds and disciplines, sells quality horses, and is a clinician and coach of horsemanship and mounted shooting. We pride ourselves in training and sales of well-rounded horses with strong foundational work to excel beyond their time with us. Our program also emphasizes riders learning good horsemanship techniques to communicate with their horse effectively. You need both components to create a successful partnership. We gravitated towards the sport of cowboy-mounted shooting as it is a speed event requiring well-trained performance horses and a knowledgeable rider to excel.
We have a passion for training young horses. We feel very strongly that the future of the sport is in the CMSA Futurity and Stallion Incentive Program. The event is for four-year-old horses in their first year of competition. Our sale program provides safe horses on the trail, good versatility, and proficient cattle work. Horses stay in our program for 6-9 months, with many staying with us for 1-2 years.
We are a Christian-based business that strives to give riders the confidence they need to achieve their goals. Those goals can include strengthening their horsemanship skills, mental strategy, or just having an opportunity to have fun with their horse. In addition, we want to create a welcoming atmosphere at our facility and at competitions that encourage learning and growth.

Jesse Westfall
Jesse Westfall grew up watching western shows with his grandpa and knew early on that he wanted to ride horses. His parents attempted to redirect this desire into showing dogs yet in a twist of destiny his 4H leaders owned horses and happened to have a horse that wasn’t being used. Jesse worked to ride and later worked by training one POA pony to become the owner of another. This was an indication of the dedication that Jesse had to owning and improving his horsemanship.
Over the years Jesse has accumulated a record to be proud of including multiple NRHA and AQHA year end awards, and being a two-time reserve champion at the All American Quarter Horse Congress. Jesse serves as an NRHA judge and he has presided over shows in the US, Canada and Australia. He has a vast knowledge and interest in performance horses — especially reining — and he has spent years gleaning extensive knowledge from the many well known trainers for whom he has worked. Even now, though he is a talented trainer and seasoned horseman, Jesse never tires of riding with and learning from others. Jesse is passionate about his work. He has been acquiring his knowledge and expertise for most of his life.
He has a strong interest in bloodlines and breeding, and has put much time and effort into studying both. He has bred and helped manage customers breeding programs and is responsible for breeding horses that have won 11 All American Quarter horse Congress championships. He is constantly refining his skills and striving to be the best possible horseman that he can be. Jesse’s passion for horses is definitely a result of his passion for life. He serves as a constant inspiration to Stacy, and is a dedicated father and friend to their three young sons. He stands as a strong example to his family and to all those around him, unwavering in his beliefs and convictions.

Guy McLean
Guy McLean started his life and subsequently his career with horses by working at his family’s 1660 acre Homestead Resort in the Queensland Bush, where he would be responsible for 50 plus trailing riding horses. From training horses to become suited trail horses for guests with no riding experience to being head trail boss looking after horse and rider on 2.5hour rides through the bush.
Guy’s dream was to share these amazing animals with a larger audience, but how would this shy boy do that? An opportunity presented itself when Guy’s father, Norm, found out about Guy’s love for bush poetry and wanted him to recite the ‘Man from Snowy River’ poem for 100 travel agents that were going to be staying at the Homestead. Guy only agreed to it if he could have his horse with him, which gave him the strength and confidence to make it his own. So Guy’s entertaining career began with riding his stallion, Nugget, bridleless and saddleless, into the middle of his father’s restaurant, reciting poetry for 1hr for 100 people at a time. The word had gotten out about the ‘Horseman from Susan River’ on his Stallion, and they soon started performing at festivals, on music stages, and leading street parades.
Since then, Guy now has three amazing liberty performance teams on two continents, demonstrating his complete and utter dedication to everything that is ‘Horse’. They have been featured at many major Australian, USA, and Canadian events such as Royal shows, Equitana Asia Pacific, Dressage Festivals, International Rodeos, World Cup Showjumping Events, World Equestrian Games, NY Central Park Horse Show, and also performing with his 4 Australian Stock Horses live on stage for Australia’s Got Talent, which was televised on Channel 9 in 2016.
Although Guy has always identified himself as a Horseman, first and foremost Guy's talents with Bush Poetry have seen him twice being crowned Australian Bush Poet Champion, in 2002 and 2006, along with the great honour of being named an official 'Ambassador of the Outback. His awards don’t stop there though and his most treasured triumphs are winning 2 World Championships of ‘Road to the Horse’ in 2012 & 2013 and an Australian Champion at Equitana Australia’s ‘Way of the Horse’ in 2005. His most recent title has been being named the first Official Australian Stock Horse Ambassador, which is one of the most honoured appointments of his career thus far.
