Clinician & Performer
Luke Gingerich
Luke Gingerich is a horseman, clinician, and performer whose mission is to inspire and educate horsemen and women to better connect with and understand their horses, while both developing a great relationship and achieving results together.
He specializes in performance liberty horsemanship, and has been fascinated with it ever since he was a young boy. He always loved the relationship and level of communication that liberty work displays, and how subtle and refined it can become. He also competes in reining, ranch versatility, and western dressage.
Luke was the 2022 Quarter Horse Congress Open Freestyle Reining Reserve Champion, and was also the 2022 International Liberty Horse Association Invitational Freestyle Champion.
Much of Luke's liberty work is founded on the basis that a horse naturally wants to mirror, or be in sync with, other members of the herd. He channels that desire and natural instinct to read subtle shifts and changes in body language, to be able to create complex, high level maneuvers and behaviors that his horses can perform completely at liberty.
Helping his horses learn how to use themselves correctly in a balanced and athletic way, even while working at liberty on the ground, is also very important to him. The combination of both the mental and emotional connection, combined with the physical body control and muscle memory that this work creates, can then be carried directly over into riding in many other competitive disciplines.
Luke currently presents at equine events throughout the country, and offers an extensive online coaching program for students, in addition to offering demos, clinics, and lessons at his home base training facility in Plain City, Ohio.

Jesse Westfall
Jesse Westfall grew up watching western shows with his grandpa and knew early on that he wanted to ride horses. His parents attempted to redirect this desire into showing dogs yet in a twist of destiny his 4H leaders owned horses and happened to have a horse that wasn’t being used. Jesse worked to ride and later worked by training one POA pony to become the owner of another. This was an indication of the dedication that Jesse had to owning and improving his horsemanship.
Over the years Jesse has accumulated a record to be proud of including multiple NRHA and AQHA year end awards, and being a two-time reserve champion at the All American Quarter Horse Congress. Jesse serves as an NRHA judge and he has presided over shows in the US, Canada and Australia. He has a vast knowledge and interest in performance horses — especially reining — and he has spent years gleaning extensive knowledge from the many well known trainers for whom he has worked. Even now, though he is a talented trainer and seasoned horseman, Jesse never tires of riding with and learning from others. Jesse is passionate about his work. He has been acquiring his knowledge and expertise for most of his life.
He has a strong interest in bloodlines and breeding, and has put much time and effort into studying both. He has bred and helped manage customers breeding programs and is responsible for breeding horses that have won 11 All American Quarter horse Congress championships. He is constantly refining his skills and striving to be the best possible horseman that he can be. Jesse’s passion for horses is definitely a result of his passion for life. He serves as a constant inspiration to Stacy, and is a dedicated father and friend to their three young sons. He stands as a strong example to his family and to all those around him, unwavering in his beliefs and convictions.

Making Advanced Horsemanship Accessible
The feel of a truly soft & refined horse. The confidence. The bond. The adrenaline of maximum performance. Horses inspire huge passion and emotions in us, and we want to share that excitement - along with the practical steps to create it.
We believe horse ownership shouldn't be a mythical quest or a perpetual struggle. It should be like having your very own Ferrari with Fur. Pleasing, comfortable and a great experience to ride. By outward appearance, perfectly quiet and civilized. Loyal, patient, and — when you ask for it — ready to show off the power and performance handling that you control with a feather light touch.

Just recently she won her first Colt Starting Competition as well! Here’s her story on becoming a Certified Trainer.
.
The day I decided to join the John & Josh Lyons Certification Program was extremely exciting, yet full of uncertainty. My Dad wasn’t sure about me spending the money since I was young and he didn’t know how much I’d end up using the education but I had his support if that’s what I decided. It was a dream come true for me. Those 6 weeks were some of the best in my life and I never, ever regretted it! With the inspiration Josh was to me, along with the knowledge he passes on, I have been able to make a full time business of training horses within the year I was back. From there it has progressed to lessons, privates, demos, clinics, exc. I also started summer camps for girls and am now able to reach up to 75 girls a summer, spending 4 days with them and their horses, passing on tips and training methods that I’ve learned from the Lyons over the years. I highly recommend anyone who has his programs in mind, Go for it!! My next goal now is the Accreditation Program. Also, my Dad ( Who is not a horseman.) is recommending my sister to do the program as well! -Sadie Fisher ~ Unbridled Equine
